My personal UNHINGED space where all my Obsessions come together: aesthetics, art + design, poetry + unfiltered words

Ok so. Here’s how it went down. My online journey started in 2008; hello?? MySpace and Tumbler anyone??

The House of Kensington is my magical fairytale brainchild 🏰

“The House of Kensington" isn't just a brand – it’s an empire I am building bringing all my alter egos to the same party. The House of Kensington is the brainchild of my enchanting umbrella over my entire creative universe. I invite you to join me headfirst into the unapologetic empire I am building and take a peek at my masterpieces of love, chaos, and art projects cooked up in the depths of my caffeine-fueled brainstorms.

The House of Kensington is a sparkly, glitter-dusted sanctuary where I'm turning my pain into power and my heartache into, well, money.

I'm basically inviting everyone to join me on this ride and journey of creativity, resilience, and above all, a whole lot of heart. I want to craft experiences, stories, and emotions, all wrapped up with a big bow of personality and razzle-dazzle.

The House of Kensington is my opus born from dream-chasing, dumpster fires, heartbreak embracing, and a whole hell of a lot of “I don’t break. This isn’t how my story ends.”

Once upon a time…

In a land of dreams and wonder, a tale of magic began to unfold. The House of Kensington was born from the core essence of who I am and have always been—a little girl with a romanticized view of the world, filled with rainbows, puppies, and an unwavering belief in love and the magic of life. Ever since I was young, I’ve been captivated by the enchanting story of Alice in Wonderland.

The very title, "Wonderland," suggested a world where anything is possible, overflowing with imagination, vibrant colors, and boundless possibilities. Much like Alice, I am curious and trusting and often view the world through a naive but hopeful rose-colored lens.

What draws me to Alice’s story is its beautiful complexity. Despite the nonsense and whimsical chaos, Alice’s journey is profound. She escapes her mundane reality into a fantastical world where flowers sing, rabbits wear watches, and cats vanish in an instant. What resonated deeply with me is the end of her story—Alice’s sister, upon hearing of her adventures, realizes that the magic of Wonderland is just a blink away from their reality. This notion that the imaginary and real intertwine, where the prosaic becomes magical, profoundly influenced me.

The House of Kensington was born from this spirit of resilience and wonder. No matter the challenges I faced, my fighting spirit remained unbroken. I often reminded myself to "follow the white rabbit," a metaphor for persisting and believing in the extraordinary.

Every design I create for House of Kensington features a white rabbit, symbolizing Alice’s curiosity and trust in the wonderment of the unknown. In our logo, you’ll find Mr. Rabbit, whose eyes are depicted as a black heart—an emblem of Alice’s belief in the magic that lies just beyond the ordinary.

The House of Kensington reflects my inner magic and my unwavering belief in fairytales. It’s a celebration of imagination, resilience, and the enchanting possibilities that life holds for those who dare to dream and break glass slippers as well as glass ceilings.

....Only then will we find our happily ever after.

From The Bottom Of My Heart

I am too much all the time.

My texts are always novellas. I over-explain. I’m overdramatic.

…and I never know when to leave well enough alone.

I have poured so much detail, heart, and sentimental attributes into this brand, so if you’re like me and my brand resonates with you, it means so much to me. And become a follower and supporter, I can’t tell you how much it means to me and I am so happy you are here.

Thank you for supporting my dream.

xx,

Alice
